Have you been confronted with the challenge of a call from your child’s school, requesting the need for additional support? These manifestations may be indicative of underlying anxiety or depression, necessitating a nuanced approach to emotional intelligence and coping mechanisms. In a collaborative effort with you as the parent, your child, and myself, we will collectively develop a tailored set of goals and a treatment plan aimed at fostering a brighter future.
I obtained my Masters in Social Work from Ramapo College of New Jersey and hold an active Social Work License in the state of New York. I have worked in a variety of professional settings, including in schools, nursing homes, and hospitals, along with emergency service and response teams. I also have over six years of experience in a child care setting. My approach is grounded in a nurturing disposition that forms the foundation of my practice.
I have a passion for supporting children and teenagers to help guide them through the complexities of life changes. I place a focal emphasis on establishing a warm and inviting atmosphere, recognizing the inherent intimidation that therapy may pose on many children. My goal is to create a safe space where all children will feel secure as we work towards our treatment goals.
