I am a first-generation immigrant, and Licensed Professional Counselor whose goal is to help every person that walks through our doors or logs in through virtual therapy achieve self-acceptance, self-love and self-understanding. But most importantly is to create a space for people to feel represented and safe in order to begin their healing journey. I have witnessed a tremendous growth in my clients that are trying therapy for the first time. They are seeing the correlation between cultural stigmas and their own behaviors and beliefs. Older generation clients are addressing trauma and recognizing for the first time that what happened to them was not okay and the impact the trauma had on how they led their lives, raised their children and overall relationship with the world.
