Glenn Goldfinger graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Physical Therapy in 1967. He received his Master's degree from NYU in 1974 and completed his Ph.D. coursework in 1987. He has been affiliated with the NYU Medical Center since 1967 and currently teaches at the NYU Medical School in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. He has been Assistant Director of Research and Training at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine and was Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Center's Research division. He has been in private practice since 1970 and has been the physical therapist for the NY Rangers, The Julliard School of Dance and Music, Twyla Tharp, Jose Limon and the NYC ballet troupes. His practice is based in general rehabilitation with specialties in orthopedic, sport, and Pain syndromes, spinal alignment, and joint pains. He has received specialized training in osteoporosis management, geriatric physical therapy, fall risk and balance training
