Taking the step to see a therapist might seem intimidating. I have a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care and strive to create a safe, therapeutic relationship with my patients. My main goal is to understand those who see me and to help those individuals understand themselves better. Although as a psychiatrist I can prescribe medications, the bulk of my practice is providing psychodynamic psychotherapy (“talk therapy”). I see a wide range of patients facing challenges that include, but are not limited to:
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Relationship Issues
• Individuals trying to understand themselves and their emotions better
• Stresses of being a new father or mother
• Ongoing stresses of parenthood
• Couples issues
