“What makes Sara stand out is the breadth of what she holds. She understands that burnout and perfectionism don't exist in a vacuum - they show up in your relationship with money, your sense of self-worth, and the career transitions that force you to ask who you are outside of what you produce. That's rarely addressed in therapy, and it matters more than most people realize. If your nervous system has been in overdrive for so long it just feels normal, or you're in the middle of a career shift that's bringing up more than you expected, Sara works at the intersection of all of it - helping you regulate, reconnect, and figure out what you actually want. Highly recommend! ”

Getting to know Sara Moss

The provider is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Sara Moss Integrative Psychotherapy. You may look like you have it all together on the outside, but inside you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying so much. I work with thoughtful, high-functioning adults, professionals, creatives, and caregivers who are ready for more than just talking about their struggles—they want practical tools and lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in understanding how stress, trauma, and life experiences impact both the mind and body. Together, we'll identify patterns that are keeping you stuck, strengthen your connection to yourself, and build skills to help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. I specialize in anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship challenges, career transitions, self-worth, and stress-related health concerns. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I integrate nervous system-focused approaches and experiential techniques to support meaningful, sustainable growth. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can be a space to slow down, reconnect, and move forward with greater clarity and ease.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often tell me they appreciate having a therapist who is both compassionate and practical. While I provide space to process emotions and experiences, I also help clients develop concrete tools they can use outside of sessions. I believe symptoms such as anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, irritability, or feeling disconnected often make sense when we understand the underlying stressors and nervous system patterns driving them. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I help clients build insight, self-trust, and a stronger relationship with themselves. My style is warm, curious, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I tailor therapy to each individual and work at a pace that feels supportive while still encouraging meaningful growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first sessions focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying your goals. We'll explore your current challenges, personal history, strengths, relationships, and the patterns that may be contributing to stress or emotional overwhelm. From there, we create a treatment plan that feels realistic and aligned with your needs. Depending on your goals, our work may include developing coping skills, improving emotional regulation, exploring past experiences, strengthening boundaries, processing trauma, improving relationships, and increasing nervous system awareness. My goal is to help you not only feel better in the moment, but also develop the insight and tools needed to create lasting change in your daily life.
