My name is Hinaben (nickname: Hina) Parikh, and I am a graduate of physical therapy from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India, where I earned my Bachelor's in Physical Therapy. After completing my bachelor's degree, I moved to the USA in 2016 and pursued a Master’s in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Troy University as a foreign student.
My goal as a physical therapist is to improve people’s lives by enhancing mobility and quality of life through restoring their maximum potential. I have been practicing as a physical therapist since 2021 in New York, USA. I endorsed my PT license to New Jersey and started working there in November 2023. Before becoming a licensed PT, I worked as a PTA in New York State since 2019. Prior to moving to the USA, I worked in a homecare setting in India in 2016 after graduating from my bachelor’s program.
Throughout my physical therapy practice, I have treated patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions such as post-joint dislocation, scapular winging, scoliosis, sports injuries, post-TKR, THR, meniscus repair, rotator cuff repair, sciatica, TMJ, PFPS, tennis elbow, cervical and lumbar bulging/herniated discs, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, radicular pain, and more. I have also worked with neurological conditions including Parkinson’s disease, post-stroke/CVA, and balance problems.
Outside of physical therapy, I enjoy exploring and visiting new places, traveling, painting, watching movies, and reading.
