Hi there, I'm Holly! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master's in Art Therapy Counseling from Mount Mary College. Reaching out for support is the first crucial step in the process of healing and change. As a therapist, it is my life's passion to be that support for those who are searching for more, struggling with their current season of life, or feeling at a loss for direction. At any stage of life, when our mind and heart decide that change is necessary and it is time to begin that process, having a knowledgeable, open-minded, and compassionate person to walk the journey with us is crucial. It is my hope to work with those who are ready-even in the smallest way-to begin their journey of hope and healing. My approach I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy. Everyone is different, and it is important to me to meet a person where they are in terms of their needs and what will work best for them. I often incorporate aspects of emotionally focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), positive psychology, strength-based therapy, narrative therapy, attachment-based therapy, art therapy, expressive arts, and trauma-focused therapy, among others. My focus While I am comfortable working with a wide variety of people, I most commonly work with adults and teenagers experiencing depression, anxiety, sleep issues, relationship and family challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, and trauma. I also frequently work with people on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum and am open to supporting individuals of all backgrounds, religions, races, and ethnicities. My communication style It is my goal to create an inviting and warm environment where people feel safe to express their thoughts and feelings. My role is to listen, reflect with you, and provide therapeutic tips and guidance to help improve and manage the symptoms you may be struggling with.
