What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. You deserve a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. My style is warm, interactive, and flexible—I integrate evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and psychoanalytic therapy, always prioritizing what works best for you. For those healing from trauma, I offer eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and somatic techniques to help process difficult experiences in a way that feels manageable and empowering. I believe in therapy as a relational process—our connection is a key part of your healing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first sessions will focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what changes you hope to see. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, uncovering patterns that may be holding you back. Sessions may involve practical coping strategies, processing past experiences, or exploring deeper emotional work—it all depends on your goals. My role is to help you reconnect with your strengths, develop new tools, and create meaningful change in your life. You don’t have to figure this out alone. Therapy can be a powerful step toward feeling more at peace, more confident, and more in control. If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to support you.
