Ines is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned an MS in Systemic Family Therapy. She is a bilingual provider (Spanish and English) who works with individuals (19+) and couples and is currently working to gather hours towards independent licensure under the supervision of Fred Wang, LMHC.
In her career, she has collaborated with many organizations and served a variety of individuals with diverse circumstances in their healing and recovery process. She has spent time in settings including schools, psychiatric hospitals, rehabilitation centers, community mental health settings, domestic violence shelters, and behavioral health clinics.
Ines believes that if you increase understanding of root of issues you can better manage relationships and daily life, as well as discover your strengths and life skills. She values laughter and collaboration in her work with clients.
She works within a safe and non-judgment space using a variety of issues such as codependence, depression, anxiety, adjustment to life events, Immigration adapting issues, support intervention, Bicultural Therapy (Spanish), self-esteem issues, family of origin difficulties, minority support, chronic pain, as well as diverse life transitions (different physical capacities, age, gender, professional, veterans to civilian life, etc.). She pulls from modalities including systemic intervention, psychodynamic, CBT, trauma informed care, and Gottman Level 1 training.
In her free time, Ines’ hobbies are traveling, art appreciation, swimming, and cinematography. She considers art as an amazing form of human expression (plastics and performing), as well as a therapeutic resource to enhance healing.
