Psychotherapist

Starting therapy is a brave decision, and I know it can be very difficult to do. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, and navigating understanding our identity, body image, depression, and anxiety. I work with my clients in a collaborative manner to help them identify goals and reach those goals. I am deeply passionate about supporting others through life's challenges. My belief is that healing often requires a safe, empathetic connection, where individuals can be guided and nurtured as they work through past experiences. As humans, we thrive and find wholeness when we have someone to walk with us, helping to identify areas that need healing and break free from patterns that no longer serve us. My approach I utilize evidence-based practices to treat a variety of symptoms, including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness practice, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy Skills (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I value a sense of connection and creating environments for my clients to explore and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. I view therapy as a collaborative practice where we can work together to identify your goals, values, and challenges to alleviate any distress you are experiencing. My focus I focus on providing a space where my clients feel heard through active listening. I focus initially on building rapport and navigating your preferences. I enjoy working with clients who are navigating life transitions, including grief, changes in relationships, and jobs, to name a few. I like working with women on women's issues, including body positivity, body image challenges, and self-esteem. I also work with clients experiencing trauma or who have experienced trauma and how this impacts their daily life and relationships. My communication style I tend to be one to listen first and will provide feedback as needed and as preferred by the clients I work with.
