My visit was very pleasant. My therapist introduced her self and was very welcoming. Her evaluating process was good as informative, because she asked questions about my injury, probed the injured area to pin point the pain and she informed me about damage part of my knee. As she worked on me she would explained what she was doing. I think this helped me to understand her process and gave me comfort in what she was doing and trusted her ability to help me with my injury. She excercised the area with different massaging techniques and was gentle but still firm. She spoke to me as she worked on my knee so I didn't focus on the pain. I truly enjoyed the physical therapy process she bestowed upon me.

Iwalani is a graduate of New York University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She then subsequently received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree with honors again from New York University. As part of her doctoral degree, Iwalani completed clinical rotations and observations treating a variety of orthopedic, pediatric, acute, cardiopulmonary, integumentary and neurological conditions in inpatient/hospital, outpatient/private practice settings located in Hawaii, West Africa, and New York City. She is also certified through Herman and Wallace to evaluate and treat both male and female pelvic floor dysfunction. Iwalani's versatility in conjunction with her educational background equips her to holistically treat a variety of conditions, patient populations and age groups.

I had a great physical therapy session with Iwa for a shoulder issue. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I'm definitely seeing her again, and highly recommend her office to anyone needing physical therapy.
