Jeana received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in 2020. She has experience working with individuals in both a college counseling setting as well as in a residential treatment facility. Jeana has helped and supported clients of various communities and cultural backgrounds, and has a background in social justice. She specializes in work with young adults, but has experience working with clients of various age groups. She has helped individuals with a wide range of presenting concerns, from depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, eating disorders, stress management, relationship issues, among others.
Jeana’s approach to counseling is always with warmth, empathy, and understanding. She strives to provide the best possible treatment and support that is tailored to each individual, alongside creating a safe and welcoming space for clients to feel valued and heard. Her work is rooted in person-centered, CBT, and mindfulness perspectives. Jeana believes that every client’s story matters, and every feeling and emotion is valid. She also values every aspect of an individual’s identity, and believes every aspect plays a crucial role in healing and growth.
