Therapy Style:
My approach in working with you will be warm, open and collaborative. I believe that therapy is an essential part of maintaining one’s well-being and I strive to help my clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves. I will remain curious about your story and how it affects you on a holistic level. Through our work together, my hope is that you feel safe and supported so that you can create sustainable changes in mindsets, actions, and relationships in the ways that you are seeking.
Modality and Approach:
I individualize my approach based on each client’s needs while always practicing from a trauma informed lens. I incorporate mindfulness, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), psychoeducation around the mind body connection, and psychodynamic techniques. Throughout our work together, we will assess what feels helpful and the purpose behind interventions utilized.
What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?
I start every day by tidying my space, drinking a big glass of water and going on a walk with my dog. This routine grounds me and helps me adjust my focus to the day ahead.
