About Dr. Jeremy Laverdure

Jeremy Laverdure, PT, DPT, OCS, NCPT, is a dedicated physical therapist who works with patients of all ages across New York City. He practices at Tula Physical Therapy & Wellness, located in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. Dr. Laverdure received his Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from CUNY Hunter College, located in Manhattan, New York City. He is a nationally certified Pilates teacher with almost 20 years of experience. Dr. Laverdure combines his background in Pilates with traditional physical therapy to treat both acute and chronic injuries. He has worked with patients who have a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease throughout his career and enjoys working on strength, conditioning, and balance training. Dr. Laverdure establishes personalized treatment plans and provides all of his patients with the tools that they need to maintain long-term health. His studies of Ortho-Bionomy®, an osteopathic-based system that uses gentle movement to stimulate the nervous system in an effort to self-correct difficult or painful movement patterns, informs his approach. In his free time, Dr. Laverdure is passionate about sharing his professional knowledge and conducts continuing education workshops for Pilates instructors across the United States.
