I’ve only ever had the most positive experience when seeing Jessie Cavazos. She took the time to listen to my concerns and needs and created a treatment plan that was personal and flexible for me. She always spent quality time with me and never rushed to another patient until my care was complete. I’d highly recommend her to friends and family.

I’ve worked with Jessie on numerous occasions and received nothing but exceptional care. I had shoulder and ankle injuries and she listened to my concerns and where pain was coming from and guided appropriately. When no one listened to my concerns, Jessie did and created a treatment plan unique to me and got me healed. She cares deeply about her patients and it’s very evident in her actions and treatment plan. Consider yourself extremely lucky to be treated by Jessie!!

Jessie Cavazos received both her Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitative Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2009.
With over 13 years of experience while working in a variety of clinical settings, Jessie is an expert movement analysis, injury treatment and injury prevention that spans the entirety of the patient population. Jessie has a passion for the treatment of athletic injuries, musculoskeletal dysfunction and general orthopedic disorders. She uses her extensive training, clinical expertise and her experience as a yoga teacher in the assessment of each patient to ensure they meet their therapy goals and receive optimal results.
Jessie Cavazos was born and raised in Huntington, NY and takes pride in treating patients from her community. When she is not treating patients, Jessie teaches yoga, helps run a family business, cheers on her twin daughters in their many endeavors and cleans up after her three dogs.

I’ve had 2 issues that Jessie has helped me with, including “tennis elbow” and low back pain. I had unbearable elbow pain and loss of function, (hardly able to brush my teeth)! Jessie offered dry needle treatment along with massage & physical therapy. She also provided clear and easily understandable instructions for home exercises. After 3 months, I was able to start playing tennis again and am now completely pain free less than a year later.
My back issues are degenerative/age related but she used her magical therapeutic skills to keep me moving & living a very active lifestyle at close to 70 years old. I’m still able to play tennis, snow ski, bike ride & hike in addition to regular HIIT classes by using stretching exercises.
There are no words to express my appreciation for Jessie’s knowledge, expertise & kindness in helping me thru my issues. I pray my nagging shoulder pain will not become something more serious, but if so, I know she will be the one that will help me.

Jessie is an amazing physical therapist. She is highly knowledgeable, very professional and also compassionate. I have seen her for several different ailments and she has always taken excellent care of me.
Most recently I was seeing her pre and post- op for rotator cuff surgery. This surgery was a long tough recovery and she was wonderful through all
of it. Jessie continuously encouraged me and never let me give up, even on the really tough and frustrating days. She said I’d get back to doing all of the things I loved, including CrossFit, and I did! I could never thank enough her for everything that she did for me!! I highly recommend her to everyone, she’s wonderful!!

Dr. Cavazos is a caring and dedicated professional. She makes every effort to not only treat our ailments but also gives clear and well informed recommendations to support our recovery. I was very pleased with my treatment and follow up instructions for a knee injury. Every session I had with Dr. Cavazos helped me recover and I learned a lot from her, too. Excellent health care provider.

I presented to Dr. Cavazos suffering from sciatica and low back pain extending around the right hip. Dr. Cavazos was friendly, caring, attentive and very knowledgeable. She listened to to my concerns and formulated a treatment plan to my specific needs. I feel I was a rather complicated case as I suffer from MS and well as scoliosis. Through her treatment plan she was able to relieve the sciatica and back pain and she taught me appropriate exercises which I use regularly to help control the pain and discomfort. I am very happy with my care from Dr. Cavazos and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr Cavazos is by the far the most knowledgeable , as well as informative Physical Therapist I have ever had. I live an extremely active lifestyle and she has prevented as well as fixed countless injuries as well as given me the knowledge to make my job as a personal trainer easier. She makes coming to therapy enjoyable and not feel like a chore. I’d recommend absolutely all of my clients as well as anyone in need to come see her to continue moving properly or to recover from an injury.
