Doctor Artandi attended medical school at the Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. He received his Medical Degree in 1970.
Between 1982 and 1988 he completed two specialty training programs at the New York Mount Sinai Medical Center. He became a specialist of Internal and Physiatric Medicine. Physiatry incorporates the diagnosis and treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders and conditions, including Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.
In 1989, Dr. Artandi opened his private practice. Since then, he has been a private practitioner. In 1993 the practice was expanded to include a state-of-the-art physical therapy facility and was moved from Park Avenue to the current 50th Street and Fifth Avenue location, across from St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
At Mount Sinai School of Medicine Dr. Artandi had worked with Prof. Christian Ragnarsson, the famous spinal cord researcher and the legendary pain researcher, Hans Krauss, Professor and one time private doctor of JFK at the White House. Dr. Artandi is a knowledgeable and intuitive doctor who listens to his patients. He explains their problems clearly. He practices disease prevention and patient education. He spends ample time with his patients and makes sure they understand their problems. Dr. Artandi’s patient clientele includes people from all walks of life, including athletes, business professionals and performing artists.

Extremely good, was able to diagnose issues that other docters cald not, staff is very friendly. Schedule is very flexible, never a wait time - if so only between 5 - 10 minutes. Highly recommend.
