Hello, I'm John, a master's-level psychotherapist (LPC) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). My primary tools in counseling are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe in a client-centered approach, which means that your concerns and pace guide our work together. In our initial session, we'll have a conversation to understand the issues that bring you into therapy. This relaxed, conversational style helps me get to know you and your unique situation. As we progress, my techniques will help uncover any underlying issues and develop a plan to address all areas presented. I specialize in a wide range of areas including addiction, anger Maleagement, anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, intimate/roMaletic relationships, life transitions, military/veteran support, PTSD, sex/intimacy issues, sleep disorders, spirituality, and stress. Working with me means you'll have a supportive partner who listens and addresses your concerns at your pace. Together, we'll navigate the challenges you're facing and work towards your goals.
