They can recognize their own strengths and weaknesses and are willing to put forth the effort required for growth and change. Additionally, this client is open to new and different suggestions for coping strategies or ways of thinking about difficulties they may experience in order to learn and grow. Once I get to know a client and the symptoms they are facing, we work together to process the causes of these issues. We then intervene with coping strategies as needed. After establishing a solid history of triggers, we identify thinking errors, create cognitive restructuring opportunities, and develop helpful thinking patterns. I hold a Master of Education in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University Fort Wayne, which informs my approach to therapy and supports my commitment to helping clients heal and grow. Reaching out for help can be scary. I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel free and comfortable. Therapy should be a collaborative and uplifting experience, resulting in growth and change.
