With a background in music and the performing arts, Jonathan brings a unique perspective to treatment. Jonathan specializes in treating adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma, and works with individuals to help them navigate a variety of difficult life choices and transitions. Treatment is tailored to each individual, drawing from the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Sensitive to the complexities of diversity and social justice, he offers multicultural therapy that takes into account each person’s singular identity and history.
Jonathan received his MSW from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice. He has completed one year of training at the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia where he is also a member of the Change Team, a body which focuses on promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Antiracism. Jonathan has experience working in community mental health and college counseling settings.
