Therapy can be a space to expand your sense of yourself. While a specific problem may bring you to therapy, I believe that my patients are often helped by gaining insight into (and ultimately, mastery over) long-standing patterns in their relationships, feelings, or behaviors. This approach helps to create lasting change. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who have a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, or a vague sense of being disconnected from oneself. I am LGBTQ-affirming and have experience working with LGBTQ and gender-expansive individuals.
Together, we will explore how early experiences in your life have influenced your present-day life and relationships. We will work collaboratively to understand your movement and experience in the world, and begin by making what may feel unsayable sayable.
My approach draws upon various clinical theories and techniques, such as psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I have previously worked and trained in a variety of settings including mental health clinics and New York City schools.
I am an out-of-network provider for most insurance companies. I will provide an invoice for you at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Together, we will come up with a fee that is feasible.
I am currently accepting new patients. Due to COVID-19, I am working virtually through a confidential online platform.
