I am a dedicated psychotherapist with almost 10 years' experience working with both adolescents and adults. If you are the parent of an adolescent or teen and are struggling to understand and communicate with him/her, let's talk about how I can help both you and your adolescent. Or you may be facing personal challenges of your own which have led to depression, anxiety or other mood disorders. Let's discuss your individual situation in a safe, comfortable, serene environment, and see what approach is most appropriate for you.
My practice includes - but is not limited to - the use of various methods, such as psychodynamic, narrative, and CBT in my treatment of both adolescents and adults. My experience also extends to helping individuals who have experienced trauma - whether in the distant or more recent past - develop effective coping strategies.

I had Dr. Silver for two sessions, and she was great. I really liked having her as a Couples Therapist, but the last time I called to make an appointment, I was unceremoniously told that she had basically dumped me and my partner as patients due to us having to reschedule a lot (we’re actors and our schedules change frequently...not a typical 9-5 to make solid schedule commitments around), and was referring us to another therapist. I’ve never been “dumped” by a doctor before (especially considering I had gotten comfortable with her and accustomed to her after pouring out my heart with something as vulnerable couples therapy) , so that felt quite, well, inconsiderate and unkind. If you have a scheduled that changes a lot, I would not recommend her as your therapist.

Love her ! But her staff just isnt the best. Always want you to compromise for another patient. Was told they would call me back for a follow up 2 weeks and have yet to receive a call. Tried calling to get an appointment myself since zocdoc has no availability and was unable to contact Aaron for an appointment

My first visit with Dr. Silver was very good, and only a half hour behind schedule. On my second visit, I waited for a half hour and was told that she would be taking another patient before me still, meaning she'd be more than an hour and a quarter late in total. There was no explanation offered. I've seen a handful of therapists, and I've never seen this behavior before. Not an acceptable way to begin a therapeutic relationship.

I absolutely loved Joyce, it was my first time seeing a therapist to begin with and I was afraid it would be awkward. However she made me feel completely comfortable to discuss what ever I wanted and listened very closely. The staff here was very polite and nice.
