Getting to know Emily Klein
It takes courage and vulnerability to start your therapy journey. It's my honor to help clients set unique goals, take action toward making meaningful changes, and develop optimistic attitudes toward life's most complex and challenging circumstances. People seek individual therapy for many reasons, such as dealing with crisis, gaining self-awareness, developing insight, improving judgment, modifying thinking and behavior, managing feelings, understanding patterns, examining beliefs, setting goals, and working through life transitions.
I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the City University of New York, a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology, and a Master's in Early Childhood Special Education from New York University. Along with unconditional compassion and guided discovery, I provide clinically proven cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic psychotherapy in my practice. I aim to meet clients where they are and collaboratively work together to improve their overall functioning.
