Judy Wiggins, MSW, LCSW, has over 25 years of extensive experience working with children ages 7 – 18, adults, couples, women, and older individuals. Judy has worked in school settings, non-profits & community agencies, as well as private therapy offices. In her therapeutic practice, Judy employs a variety of modalities that include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Grief Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Communication Skills. She also utilizes Talk Therapy and teaches various techniques to promote relaxation and to reduce anxiety and stress. Judy is a native of Southwest suburbs of Chicago and has been in the Bradenton/Sarasota area for over 9 years. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, reading, hiking, being in nature, practicing yoga and meditation, as well as spending time with friends and traveling. During these very challenging times, it is her deep desire to provide a safe and sacred space for her clients to explore their lives, and to find meaningful and effective ways to overcome stress and anxiety in their daily lives, jobs, and relationships.
