Getting to know Cathy Stout

You are seeking-that is what brought you here. Sometimes it may be a single event, a crisis, a trauma, or a series of events that leave you weary. Life can bring us to a place where we need to do things differently but can't quite sort out what that looks like. My experiences working with community mental health, private practice, trauma, crisis, and critical incidents have equipped me to understand how difficult challenges can be for individuals and families. With a Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas, Arlington, my educational background provides a strong platform to help you explore all of the systems that influence your life. I believe my kind yet practical approach to counseling offers an opportunity for hope and change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

"We will work together as a team to build on your strengths and accomplish your positive goals. During our first session, we will develop the best strategy forward. Each session will be uniquely tailored to provide insight, build tools and skills, and resolve internal barriers that may be holding you back. Each session will build on the last until you arrive at the place you want to be. "

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
