Kaitlyn believes that the human experience can be both wonderful and challenging, beautiful and ugly, happy and sad. No one goes through life without periods of difficulty where they need help navigating their journey. This is why Kaitlyn offers a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and feelings, and identify their own inner strengths. Kaitlyn is a firm believer that therapy is a form of self-care and a demonstration of self-love, which is why she takes a client-centered approach and ensures that each session is focused on the client's needs. Through past experiences of working with children and adults with chronic illnesses, it is evident that physical illness can also have a significant impact on mental health, and vice versa. This is why Kaitlyn is enthusiastic about providing a therapeutic environment to promote both physical and mental health.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys going to different parks around Houston with her husband and children. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying different restaurants, and traveling. She is also trying to learn Spanish, and hopefully will be able to speak the language fluently in the future.
