She has extensive experience working with individuals navigating complex life transitions, as well as those facing ongoing struggles such as substance use challenges or difficulties with relationships. By blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, she helps clients develop new coping skills while also addressing the underlying issues contributing to their struggles. Kajay is especially passionate about working with individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, those with autism spectrum disorders, and clients connected to adoption or foster care. She provides a supportive and affirming environment that honors each persons identity and lived experience. Helping people who may feel unseen or misunderstood find their voice and strength is central to her approach. Outside of her clinical work, Kajay finds balance and joy by spending time outdoors”whether camping under the stars, hiking trails with her dog, or exploring new places in the city.
