Hi there! My name is Katarina, and I am excited to begin this journey with you. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I have been practicing therapy in a variety of settings for over 17 years. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, a Master’s Degree in Counseling, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I love helping people change their lives for the better.
I specialize in helping people with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and improving their physical health (losing weight, sleeping better, and adding in movement) among other things. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with anger management, family relationships, grief/bereavement, medical issues/physical health, military/veteran support, PTSD, sex/intimacy issues, sleep disorders, and trauma.
I take a collaborative approach to counseling and look forward to working with you to tackle the goals that you set in the beginning of our sessions together. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Counseling.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and running. My longest run was an Ultra 50-mile run.
