I was greeted right away when I came to sit in the office. I was very on edge and nervous and she made me feel very welcome and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

She's a really nice lady and isn't there to take your money. You could tell she really cares about the safety of her patients and uses methods that are conducive to a healthy brain. She is very informative and gives supplementary readings, and she acts like a normal person and not just a doctor that's poking at you.

More about Kathleen Quinn, LCSW

I received my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in 2009. I have extensive experience working with individual’s coping with life stressors as well as symptoms of mental illness. Within treatment, I utilize various schools of thought such as cognitive behavioral therapy. My approach is supportive and goal oriented to assist individuals in identifying their needs and meeting their goals. I provide individuals with a safe environment where they are able to explore and uncover their strengths and abilities without fear of judgment. In identifying and recognizing one’s own strength and abilities, this empowers the individual to overcome life’s challenges. The first session will provide us the opportunity to develop a mutual plan for treatment. This time will allow us to explore expectations of treatment and most importantly, to explore and identify what you feel will work best for you in reaching your goals and becoming the healthiest version of yourself. Each person that walks into my office is viewed and treated as an individual, where treatment is viewed as a collaboration. After all, you are the expert and know yourself best. Psychotherapy is an opportunity to take the time to look within, create deeper insight into yourself and develop various strategies to practice positive self- care. I look forward to meeting with you.
