Hi, I’m Keneitria Alderson, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with over five years of experience supporting clients in psychiatric hospitals, schools, and community mental health settings. My clinical background has equipped me to work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and difficult life transitions.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I meet clients where they are and provide a safe space to feel seen and supported. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered approaches to help clients understand patterns, reframe negative thoughts, and build healthier coping skills. Whether you’re feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or unsure how to move forward, we’ll work together to bring clarity and confidence back into your life.
I’m especially passionate about helping those who feel disconnected from themselves—those carrying emotional weight silently or constantly putting others first. I help clients reconnect to their inner voice, challenge unhelpful narratives, and build a stronger sense of self-worth and direction. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating; I aim to make it a supportive, empowering space where you can be honest, vulnerable, and heard.
Outside of sessions, I stay engaged in continuing education to provide up-to-date care and support. I also value faith, balance, and showing up authentically, which I carry into the therapy room. I understand that reaching out for help can feel like a big step, and I’m here to make that step feel less overwhelming and more hopeful.
