An expert in musculoskeletal medicine and Botox treatment, Dr. Reed specializes in the non-surgical treatment of muscle, nerve, bone, joint, and spine problems. This includes neck/back pain, arthritis, pinched nerves, rotator cuff impingement, myofascial pain, sprains/strains and most other orthopedic and neurological issues, including chronic migraine headaches. With focused expertise in the body’s physical function, Dr. Reed offers unusually thorough assessments and a comprehensive treatment approach, typically spending 40-45 minutes with each new patient. Her emphasis is on identifying and treating the root cause of the problem.
She is also well-trained in numerous procedures including joint, carpal tunnel, and trigger point injections, botulinum toxin injections, prolotherapy, all of which she performs in-office.
Dr. Reed is an active and well-respected member of her specialty at both state and national levels. She has been invited by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPM&R) to serve as an examiner for the specialty’s Oral Board Exams for several years, is Chairman of the Continuing Medical Education committee of the American Academy of PM&R, and serving her 3rd term on the Executive Board of the Illinois Society of PM&R. Her continual involvement ensures she has the most up-to- date knowledge and methods to offer in your musculoskeletal care.

Dr. Reed was great! She spent about 25 minutes with me on my first visit discussing the issues with my hips. I have seen 2 other sports medicine doctors about my hips without success and who required uneccessary testing. Now, I am undergoing treament via massage therapy and PT both of which are in their shared facility so all three of the doctors working with me can consult each other on my condition. It has only been 2 weeks and I already feel so much better than I have in a long time. I would highly recommend Dr. Reed and Lakeshore!
