Kristen Schmauder is a licensed clinical social worker with advanced training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and integrative treatment of complex trauma for adolescents. Prior to joining PsychBC, she served as lead therapist and case manager for a residential treatment center in Columbia, Missouri, where she also supervised bachelor's and master's level practicum students. She holds her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Missouri. She works with children and adolescents and their families.
