I'm a psychotherapist conveniently located across from Madison Square Park at 25th and Broadway. I specialize in play therapy, and enjoy helping families to strengthen the parent-child bond. Play is a child's natural way of communicating, and thus is the perfect tool for therapy with young children. I often work with older children and teens as well, and tailor my therapeutic approach to the needs of each family I work with. If you're concerned about your child's behavior or emotional well-being, I'd love to help. I also love working with children and teens on the Autism spectrum and with other learning differences.
I have training specific to helping children who have experienced grief, trauma, and loss, as well as supporting families coping with adoption-related issues. I understand the importance of including caregivers in a child's therapy, and will include you every step of the way.
I understand that it isn't easy to reach out for help for your child, but I'm here to make sure therapy is helpful for both of you. In addition to supporting your child or teen through therapy, I'll also create behavior strategies you can utilize at home.
I'm an out-of-network provider. If you have questions about your coverage, my biller would be happy to check for you. We'll also submit claims to your insurance company.
