I came to Professional PT from a friend's recommendation for my sprained ankle. I am so glad I did. Kristin not only helped me strengthen and regain stability, but she also got to know me as a person. I've been to many different PT providers in the past for various things, but this is the first place where it felt like coming to work out with my buddies. The benefits of a small practice where you're not just one of many, many people, combined with the benefits of a larger practice with all the equipment and follow-up right at the ready. I had such a great experience that my husband also came here for a back injury.

Kristin earned her master's degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT in 2007. Since graduating, Kristin has earned the title as a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT) through Great Lakes Seminars, which distinguishes her ability to take a more advanced approach to evaluate dysfunction and provide hands-on intervention. Her method of treatment is eclectic, using a variety of manual therapy techniques such as joint and soft tissue mobilization, muscle energy, and functional exercise. Kristin has an extensive background of continuing education that focuses on orthopedic intervention using manual therapy techniques.
Kristin says, “I became a physical therapist because of my interest in the human body and wanting to gain an understanding of how things worked. I take a ‘whole body approach’ and truly enjoy the challenge of determining the driver of a client’s dysfunction rather than just treat their symptoms.”
