You are not alone - a few words, which I feel are amongst the most powerful spoken across places, languages, and time. These words have a unifying power and are the foundation of my work as a therapist. If you are feeling unaccompanied or unaided as you navigate a difficult world, either in your own mind, or in your relationships with others, I am honored to extend this sentiment to you - you are not alone, and you don’t have to do it all alone. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, marital and/ or familial distress, trauma, or something more difficult to name, I’d be honored to work with you towards meeting the goals we identify together for your individual and relational healing.
Originally trained and licensed as a speech-language pathologist (SLP), I have spent the better part of the last decade working with families with children on the autism spectrum. I have since expanded upon this work as a psychotherapist-in-training and enjoy working with couples, individuals, and families with a wide variety of presenting concerns. My particular clinical interests include obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, parenting challenges, managing work/life stresses, and working through relational and other trauma.
I became a therapist because I believe it is a distinct and sacred privilege to get to explore these difficult moments and tasks of life with others in the context of a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship. I take that privilege seriously and treasure the opportunity to walk side by side with others as they become more connected, more themselves, and more fully human.
I utilize humanistic, experiential, and systemic approaches to create the opportunity to experience oneself and others in a new way. I provide a safe space in which clients can break old cycles and patterns while learning healthy, adaptive ways to cope.
