Philosophy PhD (UCLA). Former Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford’s McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society. I completed my clinical training at the Smith College School for Social Work. Currently practicing with Hollywood Psychotherapy, under the supervision of Dr. Philip Lance.
My typical client is no stranger to phrases like "you’re over-thinking it" and "too smart for your own good." They are gifted thinkers and problem solvers beginning to understand that the problems they face aren't ones they can just think their way out of.
I have worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, but have particularly deep personal and professional experience working with academics and former academics (I am a former academic myself, with a doctorate in philosophy); with creatives and their partners; with LGBTQIA2S+ folks and their families; with parents, adolescents, and emerging adults.
