Hi there, I'm Laura!
Hello, I am Laura Moyer, I am a licensed professional counselor. I bring compassion, honesty, understanding, and a direct approach to the therapeutic relationship. I focus my practice on assisting adolescents and adults to develop coping skills, build strengths, and overcome the challenges that we all face in life.
My approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative and trauma-informed. I enjoy using a range of treatment modalities to best meet your unique needs including cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and other relational and mindfulness-based approaches.
My focus
I enjoy working with adults and adolescents experiencing a variety of concerns. Some areas that I can help with include depression, anxiety, stress management, emotional regulation, life transitions, loss/grief, challenges
My communication style
My counseling approach is warm, collaborative, and supportive. I will listen carefully to what concerns you and work closely with you to reach your short and long-term goals. I take pride in providing a comfortable, safe, and nonjudgmental environment for you to explore feelings, manage conflicts, and make positive changes in your life.
