Asking for help in times of stress can be difficult and may lead to heightened feelings of anxiety and depression. I offer an effective combination of therapies: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These modalities help clients explore their thought and behavioral processes and how they impact current functioning, with the ultimate goal of creating a healthy, mindful mindset. I understand that clients have different needs and expectations regarding their mental health journey; therefore, I meet my clients where they are and work collaboratively with them to develop and achieve their treatment goals.
My job is to be an active listener and provide therapeutic support and guidance throughout the client's journey to mental health wellness. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience and a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Denver, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals, adolescents, families, and couples struggling with a variety of mental health issues, including communication, emotional regulation, crisis, and conflict.
