About Lauren Newman

Lauren is a Physical Therapist at Spear's Tribeca Chambers location. She attended the University of Texas for her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Lauren has worked in various settings, including pediatrics, acute care, inpatient neurological rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedics and sports. She has experience treating patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Lauren's passion for movement began with her own knee surgeries from competitive soccer. Since then, she has focused on sports medicine through her education and experiences. Over the past couple of years, she has developed a strong interest in pelvic health and has specialized in pelvic floor therapy. Lauren's goal is to build collaborative relationships with her patients to improve their overall health and well-being to the highest potential. When Lauren is not in the clinic, you can find her running, drawing, reading, exploring, and spending time with friends and family. She enjoys staying active, expressing her creativity, and traveling around the world.
