Laurie graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. For the past 35 years, Laurie has concentrated her practice in the fields of orthopaedic and sports medicine, which also includes 13 years of aquatic therapy. She specializes in post-surgical rehabilitation and her treatment philosophy is based primarily on the teaching and methods of Brian Mulligan. She believes that the key to a successful patient outcome is quality clinical care and a strong home management program. When not working Laurie enjoys playing golf and tennis and working on strength and conditioning at a local gym.
