Hello, I am Dr. Leanette Henagan, a Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 18 years of clinical experience. I am deeply passionate about integrative healthcare and dedicated to helping individuals expand their capacity for success and live their best life while reducing the effects of stress and chronic disease in the body. My approach to therapy is rooted in trust, collaboration, and empowerment, which is why I use a strengths-based and cognitive behavioral/reality approach when providing counseling services. Additionally, I incorporate a spiritual approach to wellness to help you experience and know that restoration is possible in all areas of your life.
I offer adult therapy treatment for a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, life transitions, stress-related issues, women's issues, and all prenatal and postpartum issues. My goal is to make each client feel comfortable and empowered throughout our work together. I believe in the power of trust and collaboration, and I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you can feel safe to explore and address your challenges.
In addition, as a former D1 athlete, Dr. Henagan offers individual sports performance counseling and coaching for athletes as well as partnering with youth sports clubs to provide mental health support and education for young elite athletes. In addition, she also provides coaching/guidance and stress management counseling to parents of elite youth athletes.
With a focus on your strengths and a commitment to your well-being, I am here to support you in navigating this unpredictable world so you can live life fully and intentionally. I look forward to working with you and being a part of your journey towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
