In each session I strive to provide a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental space. I believe that you are the expert of your own experience. This means you understand you best. However, I am here to collaborate with you and try to see the world through your lens. Through empathy, compassion, and humor, I partner with you to help you reflect on your relationships, past experiences, and identity. I encourage growth and will gently challenge you along the way. My hope is that therapy is a deeply personal experience that helps you achieve increased self-awareness, strengthens your resiliency, and advances emotional growth.
I believe that each client is unique. Therefore, I tailor my approach to you as an individual. Together we co-create sessions that address your specific needs. Primarily, I utilize psychodynamic techniques, acceptance and commitment therapy, a strengths-based perspective, and anti-oppressive frameworks. I provide the best therapy for you based on your wants, needs, and comfort level.
