Lindsay is extremely pleasant and really takes time to listen before responding. Respectful of your time and space.
Lindsay is an incredible therapist. She's thoughtful, supportive, sensitive, intelligent, patient, and eloquent. She is so skilled at analyzing your thoughts and emotions—interpreting, making connections, dissecting—and helping you understand them, too. Lindsay creates a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable talking about absolutely anything. She has illuminated my emotional life and helped me make big, positive changes in my life. I can't recommend her highly enough.

More about Lindsay Kazi, LMSW

Lindsay Kazi is a clinical social worker and psychotherapist who works with adolescents, young adults, and adults. She specializes in treating individuals experiencing challenges related to difficult life transitions, racial and sexual identity, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and loss. Lindsay is psychodynamically trained and works with a relational, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens. She believes the primary therapeutic mechanism for healing is the relationship and process between the therapist and client; the treatment for relational harm is relational healing. She is warm and attuned, and encourages presence, curiosity and growth. Lindsay not only recognizes the impact of oppression on an individual, but views mental and emotional suffering as products of destructive structural forces and societal sickness. She has a strong belief in the transformational potential of suffering and values the complexity and depth of human experience and relationships. Lindsay helps clients access the joy and connectedness that exists within us all.

Lindsay is extremely patient and personable. I feel completely comfortable talking to her and would recommend her to anyone!

Lindsay is a wonderful therapist. She is so warm and approachable but isn’t afraid to ask tough questions or tell hard truths when appropriate. I also have a very hectic work schedule and she is so accommodating. I highly recommend her especially for fellow women in their 20s and 30s.

I've been working with Lindsay for about 9 months and I am still very happy that I began this journey in therapy with her. I never feel judged when in the space of her office and feel very heard and supported. She is good at recognizing when it is most helpful to provide guidance and direction and when to work with me to verbalize my thoughts and feelings more clearly. With Lindsay I feel like I have someone that is always in my corner and cares about my well being in an unconditional manner. Highly recommend working with her.
Lindsay is great at listening and meeting you where you are. In previous experiences, therapists were eager to force theories rather than understanding by circumstances first, which has never been the case with Lindsay.
Lindsay is the most patient, caring, and thoughtful therapist I've ever worked with. She has, over the course of months, helped me better understand myself and start to come to terms with what developing a practice to examine and improve my own mental health will look like.
I feel lucky that I got Lindsay as my first therapist - I had no idea what to expect but enough people suggested I talk some family stuff through with a professional. Therapy didn’t fix my situation, but after a few weeks of working with Lindsay I feel better about my role and how to take care of myself. Highly recommend her!
