I began my career in psychology as a school psychologist in Santa Cruz California. After six years I had the opportunity to work as a professional musician and did so for 17 years. In 2010 I began my Doctoral education in Clinical Psychology. My predoctoral and Postdoctoral internships were completed at The Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center in Truckee California. Upon receiving my license to practice in 2016, I was hired by Tahoe Forest Hospital where I specialized in Traumatic Brain Injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Addiction, and Adjustment Disorders.
As an aside, I have been legally blind since age 4. Navigating life with a disability is possible. It’s not always easy but with the right attitude and persistence, we can beat the odds.
