I am a licensed therapist specializing in helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Using a compassionate, client-centered approach, I work collaboratively with individuals to explore their challenges, develop coping strategies, and build emotional resilience. I aim to make my clients feel like therapy is an enjoyable self-care practice by fostering a strong therapeutic alliance. I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. In addition to talk therapy, I provide clients with practical exercises, take-home worksheets, and psychoeducation-such as podcasts and books-to strengthen their sense of autonomy and support their healing journey.
I hold a degree in Experimental Psychology with a minor in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a master's in clinical social work from Boston College. I'm currently pursuing a Neuroscience Certificate at the University of Pennsylvania. Over the past two and a half years, I've worked as a mental health therapist at a community mental health center in New York City. My background also includes providing behavioral technician services for children with Autism, conducting research with the University of Virginia's Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences team, working with Child Protective Services, and offering trauma-informed care at a Level 1 trauma hospital in Boston. At UVA, I co-authored a published manuscript and co-created a project presented at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which led to my current role as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Mortality.

I booked an appointment, a week out, for an initial visit. One day before the appointment I received an email that my appointment had been rescheduled a week later. No communication or explanation. Luckily, the rescheduled visit did fit my schedule. Today, a day before the visit, I received an email that the appointment is now cancelled. Again, no communication or explanation. Not only that, I received a bill for the first visit that never happened. That is 3 weeks I have wasted.
