While I appreciated being seeing promptly, the clinician lacked warmth. She did not greet me or introduce herself and her clinical background, what to expect, and at the start of our first session went immediately into asking diagnostic questions which instantly made me uncomfortable as I was to reveal sensitive information. These essential steps are critical to building a therapeutic relationship that is centered on trust building and it was the opposite- a very cold and distant encounter, even through zoom. I was disappointed.
