I can’t say enough good things about Exchange Place Physical Therapy and especially my physical therapist, Madison Heft. From day one, Madison has been absolutely incredible in guiding me through my recovery from a dislocated shoulder. She is not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also genuinely caring, patient, and attentive. Madison took the time to understand my injury, tailor every session to my progress, and constantly encouraged me through the ups and downs of rehab. Thanks to her expertise and dedication, I’ve regained strength and mobility that I wasn’t sure I’d ever get back.
The front desk team deserves a huge thank you. They’ve always been proactive, organized, and so smooth with everything related to scheduling, billing, and documentation. It made the whole process stress-free, which is rare in healthcare.
The entire atmosphere at Exchange Place PT is welcoming, professional, and truly patient-centered.

I scheduled my visit through Zocdoc, which indicated the doctor was available. However, upon arriving at the office, I was informed that the doctor was on vacation. The receptionist mentioned that Zocdoc does not reflect accurate availability, which is both frustrating and unprofessional.I took a day off from work for this appointment, only to have my time completely wasted. While I was told the office attempted to contact me, I never spoke to anyone, and the notification came far too late, as I had already adjusted my schedule.What is particularly frustrating is that Zocdoc continues to show the doctor’s availability, despite the office being aware of her vacation. Additionally, I incurred a parking fee for an appointment that never happened.I am highly disappointed with this level of mismanagement and urge you to take immediate steps to ensure accurate scheduling on Zocdoc. Patients deserve better communication and professionalism.

I saw Madison many times to work through shoulder pain when lifting weights and avoid surgery from a torn rotator cuff that happened many years ago. She was awesome to work with. She’s extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and helped push me to progress to the point I did not need surgery and am now lifting pain free for the first time in close to 20 years! I highly recommend working with her.

Madison is the GOAT (greatest of all time) when it comes to physical therapy. I developed a hip injury while marathon training, and thanks to her advice, treatment and support, I was able to heal and accomplish my goal of completing the NY marathon. She is knowledgeable, skilled and professional, and was a pleasure to send time with at each appointment. 10/10 recommend. Thank you, Madison!!

Madison was so great, I had been seeing her for more than 1 year, and I really appreciate her incredible care and expertise throughout my physical journey. She provided tailored personalized treatment plan that not only addressed my immediate concerns but also focus on long-term recovery was outstanding. I highly recommend Madison to anyone seeking top-notch care and personalized attention on their physical health. I will definitely visit Madison again if I move back :)

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Madison Heft! She is extremely knowledgeable. Her manner is very professional and friendly at the same time. I always looked forward to my sessions with Madison because she is very caring and developed a plan and revised it as needed along the journey of my treatments. Her work definitely helped me. For one body part, all pain was eliminated over time, and for another body part, improvement was gained. Beyond her expertise and great treatment work, my sessions with Madison felt like visiting a friend and I always looked forward to them. I highly recommend Madison to help with one's physical treatments.
