Dr. Maliha Khan received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, Virginia. She was born and raised in Northern Virginia, proudly treating pelvic floor dysfunction in her community. A GMU alumni with a B.S. in Kinesiology, Dr. Maliha has a strong understanding of the connections of the anatomical and physiological processes of pregnancy, menopause, and sports training in relationship to pelvic and perinatal dysfunction and movement systems. She discovered her love for pelvic floor physical therapy during her clinical rotations and has enjoyed treating patients with a variety of pelvic floor and non-pelvic floor conditions including but not limited to sexual dysfunction, bladder dysfunction, postpartum care, female athlete triad, and running-related injuries. A strongly versed manual therapist, Dr. Maliha incorporates a wide range of hands-on, manual therapy techniques integrated with breathwork, therapeutic exercise, and re-training the myofascial and musculoskeletal movement patterns to help return her clients to feeling their best.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Maliha enjoys running, skating, dancing, reading a good book, and spending time outdoors.
