I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Florida, which laid the foundation for my professional journey. My diverse background in social work has given me an in-depth understanding of the human service sector. In various home settings, I provided compassionate care to individuals with emotional, physical, and medical challenges during my academic career. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of the complex web of human needs and reinforced the importance of holistic and personalized care.
I also worked closely with individuals with chronic kidney disease as a social worker in a dialysis center. In this role, I provided emotional support, connected patients to vital resources, and facilitated discussions about their treatment plans. Witnessing their resilience profoundly shaped my approach to social work.
As my career evolved, I recognized the power of therapy and counseling as transformative tools. I embarked on a path to further develop my skills and expertise, enabling me to become a therapist equipped to offer comprehensive mental health support to those facing life’s challenges.
