Hi, I’m Maria, a licensed clinical psychologist committed to supporting adults through complex emotional challenges. I work with individuals facing depression, anxiety, and self-harm. I also specialize in helping neurodivergent clients, including those with Autism and ADHD, build emotional balance and improve quality of life. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your needs. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness practices to help you manage emotions and build healthier patterns. For trauma, I offer Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), creating a space that’s safe, supportive, and focused on meaningful change. I earned my doctorate from Carlos Albizu University in Puerto Rico. My training includes DBT and trauma-focused work at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. I specialize in working with adults, young adults, and adolescents facing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-harm. I also work with clients with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, adapting treatments to enhance learning and processing efficiency.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My goal is to create a supportive and empowering environment where clients feel encouraged to explore their experiences and work towards their goals. I am particularly passionate about serving culturally diverse clients, including those who identify as Latin-American or prefer Spanish-speaking therapists.
