Hello! My name is Mariola Ferenc. I enjoy building relationships and helping others. My goal is to create a supportive and safe space. As a clinician, I use a client-centered, evidence-based, and strengths-based approaches to assist you in achieving relief from your stressors.
I received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The vast majority of my experience has been working with children, adolescents, and families. I love working with adolescents, assisting them with critical developmental periods and working on building positive socio-emotional skills. I have experience with individual, group, family therapy with areas of concern including anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger/frustration tolerance, substance abuse, social anxiety, and trauma.
I firmly believe in meeting the person where they are and building goals to work towards together. Together we can build positive skills, learn to take better care of ourselves in order to find balance.
